朝の通勤電車の中である。
ただし、それほど混んではいない。

礼儀正しく断りを入れてから
女はコートを脱ぎ始めた。
乗客らは怪訝な表情で女を見る。
女はコートを折り畳むと網棚に置き
続いて上着も脱ぐのだった。
優雅な仕種。
美しくさえあった。
よく知らないが、なんとか流の
脱衣の作法に則っているのかもしれない。
流れるような無駄のない所作である。
女は上着も網棚に載せた。
電車が激しく揺れても自然体のまま。
それから女は下着も脱ぎ始めた。
隠されていた卑猥な曲線や曲面が乗客らに晒されてゆく。
さらに靴も靴下も脱いでしまい
ついに完全な裸の女になってしまった。
女は片手を腰に当て
もう片手で吊革につかまる。
涼しげな表情で車窓の風景を眺める。
静かな車内。
音が消えていた。
やがて電車は駅のホームに停まった。
ドアが開き、裸の女は下車した。
ドアが閉まり、電車は再び動き始めた。
乗客らは夢から覚めたような気がした。
だが、その夢はまだ続いていた。
網棚の上に女の忘れ物が残っていたから。
