I floated up in a cloudless sky.
Heated by the flames of the burner,
the blue envelope is bulging like a small globe.

【 熱気球に乗って 】
熱気球のゴンドラに乗って
僕は雲ひとつない大空に浮き上がった。
バーナーの炎に熱せられ
青色のエンベロープが小さな地球みたいに膨らんでいる。
熱気球操縦士技能証を習得して、最初の単独フライト。
しっかり浮遊許可の届けも出した。
どこにも邪魔者はいない。
バスケットとも呼ぶ籐製のゴンドラは
燃料の入ったシリンダーの他、荷物も多くて狭苦しい。
けれど、ここからの眺めは広大無辺。
もう最高！
熱気球は風まかせ。
ただし、風向きは高度によって変わる。
さらに上昇。
高度計の針がゆっくり目盛を刻む。
高い上昇率を示し、バリオメーターが高い音を鳴らす。
さあ、僕の風を迎えに行こう！
