Full-Length Mirror

One morning, a full-length mirror
affixed to a bureau of a wedding tool stands out,
peeling off, and a husband supposed to have been breathed
in the battlefield appears.

A broken piece of glass pierces the woman ‘s wrist,
and she stares at the blood that falls from the wrist to the floor.

Her husband is staring at it without facial expressions.

The woman screws her neck so as to be threaded
and looks up at the cloudy sky
from the window with the bowed head.

Beautiful face distorted until just ugly.

Eventually the woman’s scream begins to resonate vividly.
